“Commitment to the Future”

Congregation Ahavas Yisrael’s Building Campaign

2011-2016 / Campaign Objective: $650,000 = $400,000 private funding + $250,000 financing

Our minyan was founded in 1988 and over the years has grown and flourished as new families have moved into the neighborhood. We remain committed to the values that motivated the founders of the minyan. We have always taken pride in our serious attitude towards Tefillah, our unity and dedication to achdus among the families in our neighborhood, our strong commitment to Torah learning, and our support of Eretz Yisrael.

Launched in 2011, the AY Building Campaign and Fund was established with the goal of making our current location at the corner of Route 27 and Campbell Avenue our permanent home through the purchase of both the building and the lot next door. Through a series of pledges from members and non-members alike, we have been able to raise significant funds, moving us closer to accomplishing our goal.

Building on past and present successes, the time has come to make a commitment to the future and have likewise renamed the campaign “Commitment to the Future.” Part of this rebranding is to outline detailed objectives and milestones to help us accomplish our goals for the future.
