Dear Members,

   With the summer months approaching, we are filled with excitement. School’s out, outdoor activities are in full swing, and vacation planning is in the works. At the same time, Congregation Ahavas Yisrael turns its attention to planning for the year ahead. We take great pride in the daily, weekly, and monthly learning programs taking place at AY regularly. The extensive learning programs and exciting event programming are in the works for the post-summer months and we rely heavily on our members’ feedback, support, and active participation to make our plans become a reality. 

   As in years past, a sizeable portion of the shul’s budget is driven by membership dues. While we have prided ourselves on being able to keep dues at the same prices over the last five years, this year the Board has chosen to increase dues slightly to help defray the costs of some of the excellent programming we expect to launch in the coming year. Dues for a full member family will now be $650 and for a full member single it will be $375. Associate member dues will remain unchanged.

   We are also excited to initiate an enhanced full membership of your choosing for those who would be able to make an even larger financial commitment to AY for the upcoming year:

• SILVER: The silver enhancement for $850 full member family / $575 full member single includes membership and has the added benefit of one complimentary Shalosh Seudos during the year and a complimentary dedicated Parnes Yomi (dedicated day of learning in memory or in honor of someone/something, with recognition on that day via sign and/or email).
• GOLD: The gold enhancement for $1000 full member family / $725 full member single includes membership and one complimentary Shalosh Seudos, Parnes Yomi, and seat for the Yomim Nora’im.
• PLATINUM: The platinum enhancement for $1200 full member family / $925 full member single includes membership and one complimentary Shalosh Seudos, Kiddush (package A = Entenmann’s Kiddush), Parnes Yomi, and two seats for the Yomim Nora’im.

   The new 2015-16 dues cycle will begin on June 2^nd and can be paid by check or via the shul website.  All current members will be automatically billed by July 1^st at their current membership level for the upcoming year. Payment plans are available and dues can be added to your shul account and paid in twelve (12) installments or less. Please speak to David Zelingher or Michael Zemble to make arrangements or email VPFinance@ayedison.org. Parnes Yomi is on a first-come/first-serve basis.
